The Ohm Dome Project is an innovative public art installation that aims to promote unity and connection within the city by linking individuals through their heartbeats. By integrating this interactive artwork into urban bus stops, we seek to revolutionize public transit experiences and foster a sense of togetherness among city residents.
Features:
A Flower of Life pattern, crafted from steel with LED patterns which respond to the heartbeats of those inside; Touchless fingerprint sensors enable users to connect their heartbeats while maintaining a sanitary environment.
The Ohm Dome Project was born from a shared desire to enhance urban life and build stronger connections between community members. With the support of talented professionals and enthusiasts from various fields, we've designed and developed a unique art installation that combines technology, design, and sound to create an engaging and unforgettable experience.
The Ohm Dome system could be powered by a Raspberry Pi and features touchless heart rate monitors to detect users' heartbeats. These inputs trigger a dynamic LED light arrangement in the shape of a Flower of Life Mandela, along with a layered "ohm" chant that adds a soothing and meditative audio element to the installation.
